I had bought a bus ticket to Phoenix on Greyhound or so I thought from Houston being low on funds. I prepared myself for the idea of having to go by bus. I know it is a difficult trip sometimes. There was a transfer point in El Paso was it I believe. That sounds ominous doen't it? or to some...When I and some others tried to transfer there were so many in front of us with no other bus coming that we were not let on and had to wait for the next bus making us later. We did receive a free breakfast coupon in the seedy station. This was after a somewhat bad trip. I had held on to my other seat sometimes with pretty seedy or perhaps read illegal characters heading for it instead of other seats. I seem to be a beacon for them to bother and that continued with the other white trash I would call them taking advantage of the bus idea.
When I finally got to take the bus I was looking around for the Greyhound. It seemed to be instead the Spanish name bus of like some Spanish name of the bus co that had been down the street from Greyhound. There wasn't another bus I checked it was the right bus but wrong. Nothing was said to us and I didn't feel like discussing it with the Spanish speaking bus driver. Wait I know some of you pro illegal people are getting pretty bored with this and others. So we get on the bus. It is mainly filled with to me looking like illegals. I am sorry you can tell that just over the border look of out of fashion clothes. They did seem to pass the test when the guards or border control whatever came on the bus. They also only asked for ID if the person thought that they were not a citizen and had papers to prove they were in the country legally. They did not ask for ID at all. But what could I do by then.
Before that as soon as we went off we were treated to a Mexican movie in Spanish. It was a way out of date movie with mean people doing things to them. I tried to block it out. It was not done with you could use headphones the noise was just there. It was a very annoying to me bus trip that I did not appreciate at all. I don't know if they were invited from others in the country legally or what. After that movie the driver seemed to be outdone or ran out of his stupid movie.
I didn't say anything to him. I would have but what could I really have done and I might even have gotten thrown off the bus which would have been more annoying. Illegals to get on the bus were mainly or looked like it what kept us also from boarding the bus at first. They are there. The rep at Greyhound said something about Mexico booking them on anyway even though it was full. I know maybe I should complain on Greyhound but a lot of good it would do.
Instead of being vague I should say I don't think the guards were really doing their job maybe all they could do from protocol but not right. I saw them get on in San Diego before and they checked everyone's ID including mine who I am blond white.
I would like to accept comments but I am not arguing with rude comments.
